Alan Titchmarsh and Sean Connery are the men most women would like to have at their garden party.
Titchmarsh says he's never been compared to 007 before.
Patio manufacturers Marshalls claim the recent survey gave them joint top spot as party guests.
Titchmarsh said: "It takes a bit of secret-agent style snooping around to do our surprise garden makeovers, but I don't think I've ever been compared to 007 before.
"It just goes to show, I don't need fast cars and clever gadgets to woo the women. Give me a wheelbarrow and a pair of secateurs and I'll make compost out of Bond."
Other favourite guests nominated by the 500 respondents include Robbie Williams, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, David Beckham, Carol Vorderman and Charlie Dimmock.
