Micheline Roquebrune Connery took centre stage to open her art exhibition in Rome, escorted by her husband.
The Tunisian-born French artist, who specialises in seascapes and portraits, captured Sir Sean in relaxed mood.
The centrepiece of the show is the 70-year-old Scot sitting by the sea, covered only by his robe.
Sir Sean and his wife share their time between Marbella and Scotland.
Among those attending the opening was mayor-elect Walter Veltroni, a Connery fan and former culture minister.
Veltroni once called him "the only James Bond that ever existed".
The exhibition runs in Rome until 10 June before heading off to Los Angeles.
