Ryder 'to star with Connery in Embers'

Winona Ryder is to star opposite Sean Connery in Milos Forman's Embers.
Production on the movie begins in Prague in October, reports Hollywood Reporter.
Embers, based on Sandor Marai's Hungarian novel, is about two men, once best friends, who meet 41 years after last seeing each other.
They sit down to discuss the woman who drove them apart, and who ended up marrying Connery's character but may have been having an affair with the other man.
Ryder is also being lined up to star in the title role of Robert Altman's The Widow Claire.
It is set against the backdrop of the Second World War. Ryder stars as a young widow with two children who is caught between the affections of two men.
