Screen
veteran Sir Sean Connery called fellow Scot David Ross in
order to wish him good luck on his 800 kilometre (500 mile)
walk from Glasgow, Scotland to London - but Ross was too
busy to speak to the star.
Ross,
who was walking in tribute to legendary Scottish renegade
William Wallace, was already on another call when the Oscar-winning
actor contacted him, but was thrilled to see he had left a
message of support.
He
says, "I was gutted. I couldn't believe I missed a call
from Sir Sean. |
