Based on the popular comic book, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen stars Sean Connery as Allan Quartermain as the leader of a group of heroes in an alternative Victorian Era England. Quatermain leads a team with superpowers against a madman known as The Fantom.

His allies include Captain Nemo (Naseeruddin Shah), Dracula's Mina Harker (Peta Wilson), H.G. Wells' Invisible Man (Tony Curran), the vain and ageless Dorian Gray (Stuart Townsend), American Secret Service agent Tom Sawyer (Shane West) and the schizophrenic Dr. Jekyll (Jason Flemyng).
