Connery keeps silent about 'Torrid Affairs'

SIR SEAN CONNERY refuses to divulge details of his "passionate torrid affairs"in his forthcoming memoirs, because he wants them to remain private.

The James Bond actor will take his love secrets to the "grave" as he refuses to name names in the biography he has co-operated on with Hunter Davis.

Connery says, "I know that people are waiting for me to reveal all my passionate torrid affairs and name all the women who have crossed my path but I won't. I will take these secrets to my grave."

He is writing the book to set things straight about what has happened during his life.

Connery adds, "I recently discovered two books which have been written about me. I decided to read one out of curiosity but I threw it down as it was a tissue of lies.

"I was livid with rage and immediately got on the phone to my lawyer. I told him I wanted to start an action but he assured me the best way to re-establish the truth was to write it myself."
